So then, it's out at last!

It has been five solid years of hard work and sacrifice to get this far and now my first foray into the writing industry is beginning to emerge on the market.

So what now? Well the first thing i'm going to do is go to work on saturday. I love working for Delta Force and i'm not expecting fire and Ice to be the new Harry Potter (years of low confidence, tell me about it!) but i'm going to to my best to get Fire and Ice as much exposure as possible. I cant wait to get this month out of the way, simply because April is looking exceptionally rosy for me. A couple of weeks ago i met with a wonderful fella (and Brentford FC supporter) named Sean Ridley, who runs a tidy little production company called ThemeWorld. Needless to say we got talking and we've partnered up to produce a live-action film trailer for the book. This is something i'm extremely exited about and i really can't wait to see what he makes of Danny Patterson and his story.

Work is beginning on the follow up and already it looks like it'll dwarf the events of fire and Ice! Watch this space...

Everyone enjoying the british weather? it's starting to warm up at long last!

So then, ive been pretty busy the previous month and it has been been a real up-and-down yoyo for me, what with working night and day to finish correcting the manuscript and shoot a series of different galleys to the boys and girls up at the publishers and making a living at the weekends by getting shot by little balls of paint that really can sting despite their size...
But hey ho it's all worth it in the end.

I have to admit, things have really been looking up lately. The new year got off to a cracking start as i finally broke through the writers block to make that final push and finish the story. I need to thank the publishers for their patience, as i originally gave them an August 2011 deadline (and that was in June!)

My good mate Rocky has been an absolute hero lately, and he's listened time and time again to my incessant ramblings on about Danny's background and (SPOILER ALERT) about who he eventually becomes...

Anyway, with Fire and Ice on the verge of release to online stores such as Amazon and Barnes and Noble, it's safe to say that the coming weeks and months are going to see me extremely busy. And you know what?

I CAN'T WAIT!
